2019 International Symposium on the Frontiers of Biotechnology and Bioengineering (FBB 2019) will be held in Hangzhou City, China on April 20-21, 2019. Participate in FBB 2019, and see the latest research and integration in the fields of Biotechnology and Bioengineering.
For thousands of years, humankind has used biotechnology in agriculture, food production, and medicine. Biotechnology is the research and development in the laboratory using bioinformatics for exploration, extraction, exploitation and production from any living organisms and any source of biomass by means of biochemical engineering. Bioengineering is the application of the principles of engineering and natural sciences to tissues, cells and moleculesFBB aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Biotechnology and Bioengineering. It also provides a platform for academic scientists, researchers and research scholars, doctors, doctoral students and related professionals to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Biotechnology and Bioengineering. All authors and participants are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts, papers and posters.

All accepted papers of FBB 2019 will be published by AIP Conference Proceedings (ISSN: 0094-243X, E-ISSN: 1551-7616), which will be submitted for indexing in CPCI (ISTP)EI (Compendex), Inspec (IET), CASScopus (Elsevier), etc.

Blue biotechnology - most used for the industries of refining and combustion principally on the production of bio-oils with photosynthetic micro-algae.

Green biotechnology -- applied to agricultural processes,  microorganisms to clean and reduce waste.

Red biotechnology -- used in the medical and pharmaceutical industries and health preservation, vaccines and antibiotics, regenerative therapies, creation of artificial organs and new diagnostics of diseases. etc.

White biotechnology -- applied to industrial processes, consume less in resources than traditional processes.

Yellow biotechnology -- used in food production, for example in making wine, cheese, and beer by fermentation.

Gray biotechnology -- dedicated to environmental applications, and focused on the maintenance of biodiversity and the remotion of pollutants.

Brown biotechnology -- related to the management of arid lands and deserts.

Dark biotechnology -- associated with bioterrorism or biological weapons and biowarfare which uses microorganisms, and toxins to cause diseases and death in humans, livestock and crops.
